Balcones Cup 2019

The 5th year anniversary of the annual Balcones Cup was a fitting tribute to its founding, as it became the closest fought match to date. Contested at the host site of the PGA Tour’s Houston Open, Golf Club of Houston, Team Trinity completed the three-peat victory and retained the cup over Team Brazos once more in a narrow 1-point victory that was decided in the final pairing of the tournament, on the final hole. To cap off another successful year, the founders of the event introduced the Governor’s Award, an honor that would be awarded to the Most Outstanding Player each year.
