Balcones Cup 2016

The second annual Balcones Cup was a successful continuance of the instilled traditions from the first year, with the addition of an expanded 16 player field. Hosted at the Palmer Course at La Cantera, aptly named for its famous designer, golf legend Arnold Palmer, the 2016 Balcones Cup found Team Brazos retain the Cup with a routing victory over Team Trinity. After taking a commanding lead during the first day of matches, Brazos solidified their victory over Trinity after the field had completed the first 9 holes of their Singles Matches. To this day, this triumph remains the most decisive victory in Balcones Cup history.
